Well, I liked the bit when Snoke shouted "Oh, such spunk!", I suppose.

I loved the part where Han and Leia are separated and their son impales Han with a light saber and tosses him down the shaft and Luke's a crotchety old hermit suffering major depression on some island and R2D2 gets depressed about THAT and becomes catatonic and shuts himself down. Yeah, LOVED all that. Thanks for lifting our spirits there Disney.

Also, loved the way Rey can fly the Millennium Falcon by herself without a copilot quite well having never been in the thing and how she can best Kylo Ren in single light saber combat without ever having swung the thing. BRILLIANT!!!!

How can you possibly expect somebody who's spent their whole life scavenging and repairing machinery to be able to fly some kind of old vehicle? That'd be like you or I sitting in a car we'd never driven before and being able to handle it. Unthinkable.

If only the movie had shown her to be very adept at combat and using other melee weapons, such as disarming a trained-from-birth Stormtrooper with a stick. Or if they'd shown Kylo Ren get shot in the chest with a weapon that was instant death to anybody else, putting him in a very vulnerable position.

I dunno, but I liked it. Not as much as I enjoyed the Last Jedi, but here we are.

It was not a great film. Fun little action film, like Pirates of the Caribbean. I found the writing pretty bad. The plot was pretty pointless too. I could go with a long list of problems I had with the film.

Basically, if you're expecting the Empire Strikes Back...just don't go see it. If you are okay with Pirates of Tattoine, and can shut your brain off, there's something there to enjoy.
