No thread yet, so I'll start one
In addition to the usual festive wishes, I want to add something for the record.
It's been a difficult year, and I'm not alone in that. I have no contact with my parents and little with my sisters. I have almost no friends outside of work, and my work mates are a surrogate family to me. Christmas is always difficult, and this is one of the lowest ebbs I have ever had. I want you all to know that you mean something to me: this site, which I've belonged to for about 12 years, means something to me.
You are my friends and my family, also. I'm not truly alone, no matter how lonely I feel now.
I wish you all, your families and your loved ones a great holiday and all my hopes for the New Year. I love you all very much.
x

We love you, Kaylee. And a happy Christmas to all Transfans. As of March, I will have been here ten years. I came for the scans and stayed for the friends.

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

So, the haul is light--just a pre-opened Drift, a hardcover of All Hail Megatron (just not going to say anything to the poor soul who bough that one for me) and Walt Simonson's FF in trade, featuring Death's Head in a cool little cameo. How bout you folks?

Re: 21st? Time for a Christmas thread...
My parents decided to recommence the tradition of buying me and my brother Transformers for Christmas, after a gap of something like 16 years. They got me Hardshell from TF:Prime. No idea who the character is because I haven't watched the show, but he's a pretty cool little insecticon toy. Teeth *and* mandibles? And a 'plague cannon'? Not bad!
Also, my recent enthusiasm for rock-climbing has been noted, and accordingly I've got a book of the best (and seemingly hardest) climbs in Yorkshrie and the Peak District, and some climbing shoes, except I don't have the climbing shoes yet because I have to choose them.
And Jens Lekman on vinyl. Woop!

Got chucked some Amazon vouchers, season 6 of Mad Men, the sixth Walking Dead hardcover and a nice new hoodie.
Amazon vouchers went on Futurama, Family Guy, The Unwritten vol 4, Persepolis and a Spawn Origins hardcover. Yay geekery.
I also seem to have bought myself Absolute V for Vendetta.
Highlight of Christmas was definitely having my 7-year-old niece sit quietly on my lap for an hour playing Minecraft on her iPad. Family yays.

I did well.
Got Generations Skids (my mum wrote "against my better judgement" on the tag) quite a lot of clothes, several graphic novels (Saga, Hawkeye, Young Avengers) and most importantly a pair of very comfortable slippers.
