DOnt get me wrong, i love BB but you know how when it started it had a sense of humour as to how bad things could get?
Now its not funny, its just harsh, and bad..... its broken!
Amazing episode, so only two to go now....

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

SEMI-SPOILERS... SORT OF (I'm talking about how I feel about the show and certain characters, and maybe some details).
HEY.... SPOILERS DOWN BELOW.
Sunday night I watched the first episode of Breaking Bad, and twenty minutes ago I finished the episode that was released on the 15th. So basically I've watched like one season/day. The show is awesome, but I'm so ******* bummed out right now - the tone has gradually changed day by day, and this whole day has felt like I'm in some sort of emotional hell.
In one of the episodes I watched today there was a flashback to the first season (Walt and Jesse cooking for the first time), and I almost felt warm inside. Like "Hah! I remember how much fun I had Sunday night when I saw the first couple episodes. Everything was so easy back then ", and then they cut back to reality and everything is ****.
Walter's been transformed from a character I like, to a character I basically want dead (I think). He's ****** everything up with his greed and pride - but at the same time I can see why he's chosen to do what he's done. I mean, he had absolutely no balls at the start of the series and everyone else was speaking for him and making decisions for him, but when it came to cooking he was, for the first time, in charge. He went a bit overboard though... but as I said, I can understand why, which makes it so difficult for me to make up my mind about how I feel about him. But everything he's been through has turned him into a psychopath.
Jesse was a fun sidekick when the show started, but the last two days I've really been rooting for him. It's been fun to see him evolve, and he so does not deserve what Walt did to him. Jesse's got a good ******* heart, but everybody's just using him and yelling at him.
And then there's Hank, the manbearpig. I thought he was annoying at first, but he's also really grown on me. He's really cool with Walt Jr. and Holly, and he's a stand up guy.
I almost lost it when they shot him in the face. God, my heart was pounding so hard!
Skyler was my nemesis for the first like 40 - 50 episodes, but yeah, that changed as well!
And so on...
But that's the cool thing about this show. The characters are ******* amazing, and the "character development" has been handled really good. And so has the relationships between the characters.
Still bummed though... all this death and misery has lead to nothing (so far).
Anyways, just needed to vent It's been a rough week!
END OF SPOILERS AND SUCH.

I've been avoiding this thread because I was saving the last block of episodes. Silly me, eh.
Anyway, I've just done this entire last batch over the space of last night/this evening and am BANG up to date.
Vince Gilligan seriously needs to leave some drama for the rest of the world.

Two things:
I read an interesting bit of speculations that Walt froze to death in that car at the start of the episode and everything else was just him fantasizing as he died. Which, hey, is a bit more depressing, but would STILL make for an awesome ending.
Next...
I loved watching fan speculation wind up being entirely wrong on such a consistent basis. It was wonderful. At the end of the penultimate episode when Walt decides to go home, some fans loudly proclaimed that "Walter White is dead. Only Heisenberg remains. And he's going out in a blaze of glory".
Then, like, literally the exact opposite happened. Walt told "Heisenberg' to "Just get me home. I'll do the rest." And the rest of the episode was Walt. There was no "Heisenberg". No "drug kingpin". Just talented scientist Walter White, setting things right before he finally dies. Not for his "legacy". Not for his "empire". But to help and save the people he cared about. His only "legacy" is a meth manufacturer for a neo nazi group who killed a DEA agent. And, so long as his family is safe...he can die content.
Plus...ROBOT GUN KILLING A BUNCH OF NAZIS YES, YES, YES!

Regarding the rest of your post, yes yes and yes.
Admitting that he did it because he enjoyed it. The whole "if you kill me, you'll never know where the money -erk" bit. It's just... yes. And killing them with science. Practical science. Because he's a science teacher. Winnination cubed.
Re: Breaking bad - Probably will contain spoilers at some po
Yeah, it was absolutely brilliant that he killed those nazi ****s. Todd died like a complete pussy too, which was nice. Lydia - ****, awesome that she died too.
