What should we do about the "M3Gr1ml0ck" person spamming stuff in the fan works forum? It bugs me that he isn't a member of the community so much as he is a dump-and-go distributor.
I know the forum is barely used as-is, but I feel that anything we have posted in there has been buried by this...stranger.
Thoughts?

Hm? Didn't even realise that forum EVER had anyone post updates *checks*
Well, at least SOMEBODY posts stuff there. Maybe we all just need to put more effort in?

Do custom bots count? Because I could totally post WIP shots of my Tarn.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Well, (s)he's a real person and is posting relevant materials. I think they're harmless enough.
Part of the reason, IMO, why he appears to be posting so much is that we basically only have 4 active forums. TF media, news, GD and toys. Of those, only two of them get any regular use. They're all above the fold on the homepage so I would imagine the most common mental model is for users to scan the top half of the boards page and ignore most of what's underneath (fiction/art, sales, relics, TransFest, admins).
That then means that most of those forums don't get used, which then means there is no reason to scroll down and check them and so on.
Not really a lot that can be done about that, unless we start attracting more users, reduce the number of forums or possibly columnate the board listings so that more is shown above the fold. Or we can take a nap, which would be my preferred option :3

See, this is why Karl is better at this stuff than me. I was just going to say "SOMEBODY'S POSTING IN ONE OF THE FORUMS? HOW DARE THEY?!!!!" and then ad lib some suitable punishment.
Good thing I waited, eh? Karl's post was much better. Especially the bit about ignoring everything and going back to sleep.

I actually paused and did a double take there when I thought to myself "GD? We have a Gender Dysphoria forum now?"Karl wrote:we basically only have 4 active forums. TF media, news, GD and toys.
