I resigned

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I resigned from writing comic book columns for a magazine owned by Orson Scott Card. http://spencerellsworth.blogspot.com/20 ... -igms.html

Maybe I'm out of the loop on this, but why is this a good thing? I take it that it is, given you left on your terms, but why? Are we speaking about the "Ender's Game" Orson Scott Card here?
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

I'm guessing this is over the fact that he's generally regarded as a fantastic author, but a generally crap human being.

Mostly over his involvement with the National Organization For Marriage, one of the primary organizations battling against gay marriage rights.
