Something is eating my harddrive.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Something is eating my harddrive.

I've got a problem with my PC... yesterday when I started my computer I had about 500mb of free space on my C: drive, but all of a sudden I only had 450mb... and so on.
After a while I had 0mb free space. So I deleted a couple of files and got about 50mb free space, but after a couple of minutes these were gone as well.
What the hell is going on? Is there a Poltergeist in my PC? I can barely use my computer as it is right now. Whenever I free up some space, something eats it up :(
Can't believe I'm still here.

Try this to find out where all your space is going: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/compute ... isk-space/

See if that gives you any clues :)

My system it's almost always due to windows backup eating all my HD. Check how many backup images you have.
