Sorry to hear it, you're a similar situation to a woman I work with. Only in here case she and her ex are now in out and out fighting over the house they only just brought (he wants to go on living there but won't to buy her out, she doesn't want to keep on paying half a mortgage on a place she's no longer living in).
It sounds like your and your ex at least still seem to have have civility going on and have come to an arrangement that, if not perfect, is at least more workable and doesn't involve lengthy legal battles.
And you're all doing better than me, living me my mother and on the way to being a crazy cat man.

Gah! Exes. The mere word is enough to dredge up long-repressed memories of pain and suffering!
I will say something that may help put a positive spin on things - I've been going out with my current lady for just over 4 months. Her relationship prior to me was also 5 years, after which she was single for around 6 months before we got together. So in conclusion, it probably won't be long before you meet someone better (After all, I am of course better for my gf then her previous ex ).

In the meanwhile... Vegas for Christmas.
Well that didn't take very long. If it were me, It'd be AT LEAST another two weeks of ice cream, porn, and buying Transformers on eBay before I even thought about doing something disciplined and productive...

God, I've got like a PERFECT vision of you guys staying up all night having Transformer wars, playing video games, ordering pizza, sleeping in the living room on blankets, painting each others nails Autobot Red and Decepticon Purple....Brendocon wrote:I'm fantastic.

As troublesome as the phrase "Transfans Sleepover" could be, perhaps we should start funding it.Brendocon wrote:We did the pizza thing.
And to be fair we talked about the nails, but he only had purple so we decided to skip it.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.
