Not sure about Ruffalo, but I'm sure I'll not mind.
RDJ directed by Joss Whedon. It's a geekgasm.

AgreePlus. I'm sure someone with a better control on themselves will be objective about the pluses and minuses of that trailer, but basically, that was superf***ing cool.

Not really impressed by anything in this trailer.
Except, of course, Robert Downey Jr, who will almost certainly steal the show.
So who's supposed to be the villian in this? Loki?

Well there's nothing to be impressed about except the extreeeeme fanboy awesomeness. Other than that it's your standard superhero and/or ensemble action movie. Besides, you were impressed by the trailer for Tron Legacy, and we all remember how that turned out. :PYaya wrote:Not really impressed by anything in this trailer.

And yeah, I believe the main villan will be Loki, but - and correct me if I'm wrong - the Cosmic Cube and Hydra will also be involved on some level.

Who's the villain? In the Avengers? Seriously? You have to ask this?
The villain is the individual members' own weaknesses and inability to work as an actual team. Which they must overcome to learn about themselves and each other. And stuff.
Dammit, man. You should know that.
Also, Loki goes for the cosmic cube in an attempt to subjugate mankind. And there are rumours about Skrulls. But mostly it's the "themselves" thing.
Would the words "in 3D" have raised your opinion of it?

I have superb taste in movies.
I'm also capable of having actual fun and being entertained. They're not mutually exclusive.
Paying a flat monthly cinema fee also helps with the relaxation of standards. Take the "I'm not paying £7 to sit through something that won't be superb" issue out of the equation, and the rest will follow.
I don't know why this is about me, Yaya's the one who wants it to be in 3D, and who despite being a comic reader doesn't know that the villain in the Avengers is teamwork. :/

Ah actual fun. Much better than all that fake fun I've been indulging inBrendocon wrote:I have superb taste in movies.

I wish more places would do that. I'd go to the cinema far more often rather than waiting for something I think will actually be 'worth it'.Paying a flat monthly cinema fee also helps with the relaxation of standards. I've noticed a couple of big chains offering it (I think Vue do?) but nowhere I used to live, and I don't think anywhere round here now. Boo.
Yaya gets enough grief, it feels like picking on the geeky kid. You make a much more entertaining distraction since you biteI don't know why this is about me

Do you think Iron Man plays Van Halen music then when he's flying?
