Everything a damn movie

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Everything a damn movie

There are some things I don't want to see a screen adaptation of.

Song of Ice and Fire was not one of them.

Watchmen was.

Bone is.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

The Watchmen movie was awesome though. At least it wasn't, say, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell or V for Vendetta.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Loooooooooooved Watchmen. Thought V for Vendetta was pretty good. Enjoyed From Hell enough. Never got around to seeing all of League of E...LXG.

Bone could make for a cool movie. Or it could be terrible. Depends entirely on the people (and talent) involved.

V for Vendetta was the best movie out of those brought up, although - perhaps to MV's point - none of them were particularly solid adaptations of the source material. But they're all Alan Moore, and Alan Moore writes for comics. I'm sure if you tried to turn Fight Club into a book, it would kind of suck too.

Back to Bone though: So what are we thinking in terms of CGI/real life? Should it ALL be CGI? OR perhaps the Bones and Boneville are CGI, and the rest is as LOTR as you can get? Should the Bones be straight CGI, or should Andy Sedakis be underneath them all?

Irony? The novel of Fight Club is leagues beyond the movie, if you ask me.
