Safe to say that we have all purchased things we could not afford, because they looked so shiny, yes?
Why do I do that? (headdesk)(nonetheless very excited to play with new toy)(headdesk)

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Just got some fabulously entertaining emails from some dude who wants to buy all the equipment I'm selling off for his money laundering scheme.
some very stupid dude wrote:Thanks so much for the info,i will like let you know that the deal is
still on and the payment would be sent via UPS, Fed Ex or Us Mail
Courier Service and the item will be picked up as soon as you receive
the payment, and get payment cashed. Then I will instruct my shipper to
get in contact with you for the pick up schedule time and date.I will
like to tell you that i would be sending a payment worth of $3,000
cover the shipment of the items bought, because, i might not be on
hand when the payment arrives,as am going for my honeymoon in the
United Kingdom. As soon as you receive the check have it cashed and
remove your money for the item and send the remaining funds to my
shipper via western union money transfer. My shipper is also picking
some of other items at the same city of yours, that is why you need to
transfer the amount to my shipper.you will have to deduct $100 for
your running around that I have caused you during the transaction
period. Please let me know if i can trust you on this so we can move
forward from here. Do get back to me asap. Ok

What do you do if you don't run up your credit card and then use your tax return to pay it off every year? Actually spend the tax return on stuff?

Thankfully, I only buy things when I have the actual money in hand.
Bought my first car three years ago with cash. Took me nearly ten years to save up to do so.
Still no house. As I won't borrow for this either, it's going to be a while before I can actually afford one. So I rent.
However, I have been able to buy any toy I've ever wanted, which ain't too shabby.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

When I met my girlfriend, my entertainment center had Alternators all out in a huge battle scene, I had my Takara Bookstyle Reissues lined up on a shelf, and an MP Optimus Prime looking over it all.
Now she's my wife, and everything is in boxes. Save for Op, who sits sadly near the computer in his truck mode.
