If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Well put.
Twenty years later, and I'm still excited to see what happened to Rachet, Megs, and Shockers after that final Ark crash.
Wow.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

With TF#81 being announced on the same day that I finally get my hands on a copy of IDW's #22, I'd say that my enjoyment of TFs had increased TENFOLD, today!
TENFOLD!

Yep yep, No complaints from my quarter.
For now, anyway. Long way to go.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but it's relevant to my interests, and possibly to those of you two fine gentlemen.
After ditching TFs completely on the back of All Hail Megs #1, I've spent a lot of my geek-time in the years since writing about half of this:
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page
and if you don't use it (or contribute to it, hint hint) then I would recommend it whole-heartedly. We're very, very strict about only containing official/canon information, source as accurately as possible and are fluff-only (though pics of official minis are allowed). Unlike the TF wiki it's rather a humourless place (the sysop reminds me of Shockwave, come to think), but I find it to be the best source of 40K background on the net, as well as a way for me to relax and get my geek on.

I guess I spoke too soon, local tv should be getting Transformers Prime this month. Also there's the new ponies on local shelves while the previous season ones are on clearance, yet there's no sign of their show coming anytime soon.
