My daughter's first Transformer...

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

is Animated Snarl. Who is a triceratops. I'm not sure why they couldn't call him Slag. Great action on his thumbs and sculpting on his fingers and an expressive face. Really a class act figure.

And a certain Universe Bumblebee turned up in my basket. One for me, one for you.

So far Snarl spent the whole morning protecting pink faeries from the giant baby monster.

It begins...

Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

That's really sweet.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

That's wonderful. Though considering she's 45 the pink faeries bit is worrying.

Warpath was actually my first proper TF as well - once i had explained in painstaking detail how one brand of cartoon based robots was ENTIRELY DIFFERENT to another brand.

Ha... oh, sad. Don't I know it. I justified not collecting for years based on Hasbro's bad manufacturing practices... but buying secondhand on eBay tends to remove most of that debate, doesn't it?

Nice! Protecting pink faeries from giant baby monsters, see now THERE'S a job that can't be outsourced.

For me, I want to say Bombshell, but I would think that my parents probably gave me a Micro before they went out and bought a proper TF, and in that case, Brawn.
