Heard it.
Too many thoughts to process now. In essence:
Kind of like Kid A, but in 2011.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Not as good as In Rainbows. Codex is lovely.
There's rumours that it'll turn out to be a double album.

Seems deliberately anti-In-Rainbows. Codex is up there, though, with Pyramid Song.
I could see the double album bit.

Bummer. My copy of Pablo Honey isn't playing from too many scratches and I've got to replenish it in my music library.
Thoughts on King of Limbs, a few weeks later: It's still hard to like. The songs are fairly shallow and simple compared to masterworks like "Nude." I doubt there's more than two or three chords to each one. On the other hand, the instrumentation gets deeper and more complex with every listen. I particularly love the layers in "Bloom." Lots of orchestration weaves in and out of that strange drumbeat. "LittleByLittle" grew on me, although "Codex" is by far the best moment of the album; it seems to be one of the points where they dropped the conceit of a deliberately difficult work. Reminds me of "Optimistic" on Kid A. Like getting a chance to breathe.

Bloom has lots of layers to it, and Feral has this repeated refrain in the background that I find quite hypnotic. Little By Little seems a popular one, but for me there's no surprises (no pun intended) in it. But the second of the half of the album just feels like it has more soul.
There's got to be more on the way surely?
