Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

There was a wonderful ranty quote from a message board included in the story in one of the papers which was along the lines of "Superman is an American icon! I'll never go see a Superman movie with a Brit playing him". No one must have told the poster Superman is an illegal immigrant...

I don't think anyone knows we have BBC America. Maybe the president of NPR watched BBC America.
Does this one work? Because if not, seriously, the ******* American Revolution is over, Internet.

The Goddamn Batman transcends nationality. Superman, on the other hand, is a thinly veiled representation of Senator Joseph McCarthy.

I got myself Birthright... and am pondering over Red Son and Superman/Batman Vol 1.spiderfrommars wrote:Can you reccommend any good Supes comics? Ones that can be bought in a dinky book form preferably.
I remember reading some of the Death of/Return of arc first time round so will probably look into that for the sake of nostalgia.
Anyone read any of these?
Er... and should this be in the 'I Like Comics' thread?

Check out All-Star Superman if you have the chance. Some people have called it the Watchmen of Superman comics. Some others have simply called it the Watchmen of comics. But those people are dumb.
