My best (total) was only around the 4000 mark for a few games, until I realised holding down Z made you jump further. Kept using X to make the distance, but it'd run out of juice every so often.

54662 total, 27388 individual.

Youtube'd the song (Erasure - Always, for those who didn't know) and there's several Robot Unicorn videos (also, at least one Robot Unicron!), includng one with a 250K run.

Will have to play this more.

29498 with all 3. Keep in mind I've only been playing continuously for a half an hour... I don't count the first 15 minutes I spent on it this morning.

edit: 33288 with all 3, 1 wish high score: 11716 so far.

I hate it when they put the star on the leading edges of cliffs, or on that annoying little bump that pokes out of the ground... messes me right up!

What I do there is do an X as normal, but as soon as the star starts to explode, do a Z - It's a Bay-tastic explode-jump!

So, KaeLynn now loves this game.

Yay, so even those who are trying too hard to uphold their "Metal"/"Dark" image can play and enjoy. As long as they have an iThing.

I've heard the song before and didn't really think much of it, but now because of its association with this game, it's sort of been elevated in status in my head. It makes me happy, and I now want it on my iPod.

Yeah, I searched the Adult Swim site for the game*. Tried it, couldn't get anywhere! frame rate was ridiculously low. One moment I'm jumping off a ledge, the next moment, I've crashed into a star! FFS!

Anyway, new total: 70498. No new highest individual, but my total would've been higher had not nature intervened! Lowest individual wish ever: 383!

I find the metal version to be harder. Maybe its just hard to stay relaxed and let my fingers do the twitching.

It lacks the benefit of the audio clue due to the music. It's still there, but it's more noticeable in the fluffy version.

I still prefer the first version... the second is prettier in a way visually, but the first is what won me over in the first place. That, and it has Always.

I think that's just the adult swim implementation. It's the same for their original too. Although, I did find another version somewhere where you can even hear the unicorn whinney.

Robot Reindeer Attack!

Dash through snowmen, jump at angels, land on snow-covered candy-canes.

Fir trees in the background, jingle bells as the recurring soundtrack (the jingle of bells as the pre-game bit).

Not sure what would replace the dolphins, though. Elves riding yuletide logs, perhaps.

Oh, and the sound of Santa Ho-Ho-Ho'ing when you die.

Yesterday I was so frigging annoyed because one of my professors had used an incorrect word in place of another word when giving us an essay topic to write, but I only figured this out after I had killed the better part of four hours trying to research it. (was confirmed this morning when she answered my email)
