Boise State and TCU as two of the best teams in the country? PLEASE. Meanwhile, don't talk about college football, I live in Texas. Matter of fact, don't talk about football period, as I live in Texas and I'm not a Texans fan.

I would agree with that. I dont think any LSU fan actually LIKES Les Miles.IronHide wrote:TCU flat out obliterated Utah. How does that not make them legit? Boise, yeah, I'll give you that one.
As long as my OSU cowboys keep this magical season alive, I could care less.
Oh....F*** LSU. I hope Les Miles gets eaten by a 10 bears...slowly.
I have to say, that when I was in college, OSU had the most beautiful campus I had ever seen. And an ingenious stadium design....bastards.
It is also the birthplace of my Fraternity.

Yes, TCU is technically in Texas. And while they're legit, that doesn't mean that it makes for an exciting or interesting season, given that for 90-95% of their games, TCU and Boise play scrubs.
Again, I'm not a hater, how could I be when all this was set off by Boise State gloriously humiliating the Sooners with a Statue of Liberty play? I just have a feeling that when this season is looked back upon in history, it will be an odd transition year, like when the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2000.

You should see it now. Aaaamazing. We got whisky drunk this weekend at the Baylor game and stole a golf cart from outside the stadium. I dont know what happened to it.....Optimus Prime Rib wrote:

I gotta give TCU the benefit of the doubt, they're at least trying to play tough teams, and I think they have the best chance out of any of the weaker division teams to be a contender every season. Boise has the potential, but not the respect, especially when the BCS throws them against TCU for a bowl game. The same thing will more than likely happen this year and both teams will continue to be on the outside watching an SEC, Big 12, Big 10 or PAC-10 team take 1 and 2. Not to mention moving to the Mountain West is nothing short of a lateral movement. If you wanna prove something, demand that PAC-10 spot.

I remember there being an honest to go Delta Tau Chi house
(Animal House anyone?)
Also for those that dont know about the stadium: it is built east to west, NOT north to south like every other stadium.
I realized this the hard way when I was extremely hung over sitting in the bleachers after partying all night with my KKPsi brothers from the Alpha chapter and the teams came on the field. I noticed that their entire team had visors on. Then it dawned on me that the entire visitors side was bright reflective metal bleachers, and we were slowly being baked alive and our team was being blinded by the sun.
ingenious
I remember our university president getting up and drunkenly screaming that he was going to revoke all of our scholarships because we were cheering "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERES BULLET!" every time we got scored on and we would reply with "HAVE ANOTHER ROUND YA LUSH!"
