George Lucas finds a new way to **** about with Star Wars

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

i am so ******* sick of 3D movies.

Can we concentrate on making a good movie with a good story, rather than worrying about how glittery we can make it? Why is this so hard? Oh yeah, because the average person now has the attention span of a

I'll fork over the cash to watch all six movies in 3-D. I mean. It's Star Wars. In 3-D. Yes.

I'm totally with Smooth on this.

I'm into Star Wars. But when I can really be in Star Wars, I'm there.

Yeah, you know me, the 3-D whore.

But think about it. The X-wings flying into the Death Star in 3-D! The snowspeeders flying around and under the snow walkers in 3-D! Weaving in and out of the trees on speeder bikes in 3-D!

The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network, Brendster. The Clone Wars.

Best things since the original three.

And that's a new project is it? Because I thought that was him just squeezing Star Wars some more.

Of course there was that moment he stopped mucking about in the SW universe to wring some more cash out of the Indy franchise.

I would say it's squeezing Star Wars in a good way.

The animation, sound effects, music, and story are first class stuff. Lucus was going to make a live action Star Wars series, but when he saw he could do whatever he wanted to with the incredible animation, he dropped that idea.

In fact, I would say the prequels were good for only one reason. It birthed the Clone Wars animated series.
