Transformers-related question

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

On the Radio Times website.
Which Transformer's name translates roughly from Latin as 'Best First'?
  • Cliffhanger
    Megatron
    Optimus Prime
    Ultra Magnus
It's almost a "'What A is an Optimus Prime' on Blockbusters" moment.

Almost.

Bonus points for also including the non-TF trick answer.

I included that in one of my columns! The legions of people who read comic reviews on Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show will all know!

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Or, more specifically, the legions of people who read your comic reviews on Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show will all know.

I'm not going to reveal which particular competition it relates to, as I'm not a fan of the actual prize, although it is marginally better than its runner-up prize.

Mary Shelley got away with calling one person a legion.

Admittedly, this one person was made up from parts of lots of other people, but it did refer to itself in the first person singular. Most of the time, anyway.

Indeed.

And Galvatron is Latin for 'Insanity First'.
