Who watches the...

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I've just finished reading it. And it was awesome. So awesome!

What about the movie? Did you guys like it? I've yet to see it.

The movie was crap. That one guy had his personality butchered and that other guy was completely left out. It would've been sooooo much better if what's his face wasn't the director.

The movie wasn't crap - it was always going to be a challenge - i thought the ending actually made a lot of sense the way they changed it - it's a flawed creation, but worth watchmening

I wouldn't watch the film again, as much as I enjoyed it.

not even if you got in from the pub and you really needed to go to bed but it happened to be on the TV that you accidentally turned on and you thought i might just watch ten minutes and then you end up watching the whole thing?

Says you. Even Yaya thinks it's crap, and that's saying something.

It says that Watchmen obviously wasn't released in 3D, is what it says.

Completely agree.

I'll probably buy the Directors Cut (with the Black Freighter inserts) if they get round to releasing it.

I guess Alan Moore has a point - he says his comics aren't made to work as films.

I always felt the Watchmen was overrated, but the movie was quite nice, actually. Excellent noir feel to the way it was filmed. Very nice camera work and angles, excellent use of lighting.

Still wasn't in The Crow or Dark City league though. Now there are two visually stunning flicks.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Loved the comic, loved the movie. Put it on the other day and I started crying before Bob Dylan had finished...it's a glorious production. Now, where's the special edition? Huh?
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

It's gone to the same place as the cut of the film that featured You're My Thrill.

Shame the love scene was so cheesy.

I watched it on an airplane and looked like a right perv.
