So who takes "Best Animated Film 2010"?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

So who takes "Best Animated Film 2010"?

I was looking at the Oscar nominees. Probably the strongest year they've had:

Coraline
Fantastic Mr. Fox
The Princess and the Frog
The Secret of Kells
Up

Interestingly, all types of genres are represented here. 3-D CGI with Up. Stop motion 3-D with Coraline. Straight up stop-motion with Fantastic Mr. Fox. Classic Disney 2-D with The Princess and the Frog.

And this. I wasn't familiar with The Secret of Kells, so I checked out the preview...and was blown away by the incredible style: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw2_HZTu ... re=related

I can't really pick one. They were all so very good in their own unique way. I guess if I were forced to go with one, I'd probably go with Up. But I could make an argument for each. Coraline was genius. Fantastic Mr. Fox was laugh-ass-off hilarious. Up was poignantly Pixar. And this Secret of Kells is quirky retro.

Which would you vote for?
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
