every time someone posts a thread like this I end up having a dream that I bought a ticket to London for the weekend just for the transfans meetup.
And it ends up we're like, all standing in a cow field somewhere in the Midlands and I realize I left Chrissy and Adia in customs.

Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

I'll pick you up, but stay close in customs.

There's a London in Canada isn't there? We could always go to that one instead. Unless the Adventures of Willy Fogg lied, but why would as show about a talking lion not be 100% truthful in all things?saysadie wrote:Ooh, I'd love to. But I'll need a ride.

I, personally, felt quite betrayed by the producers' assumption of a child's intelligence that we wouldn't notice the fake lion's tail would have represented a technological anachronism in the Victorian Aniverse.inflatable dalek wrote:Unless the Adventures of Willy Fogg lied, but why would as show about a talking lion not be 100% truthful in all things?
Actually, I didn't, but it was the first thing I could think of that sounded like it might be useful in a debate about Willy Fogg authenticity.

OK, I'll try to get there for 8! I'll probably be wearing something like a Doctor Who scarf and I'll bring a red-haired girl. Oh, and I'll carry a copy of Wreckers. Unmistakable.

It was nice. Most of the guys there were from The Moon or Moonbase - something like that - and were a bit surprised when I turned up, because it was apparently a bit low key. I met MV though, and found out that he knows someone who knows someone who I know, and that he completely outclasses me in the field of Transformers merchandise owned. Nice chap!
