If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Anybody catch this show? The first two episodes weren't bad. Not great. But not bad.

If it can hold up to the amazing 80's glory of the original, it could be decent.
I'll check back come episode 8 or 9

It's enjoyable - but some stuff is cringeworthy.
Like the chemistry/acting/directing between (Lost-)Juliette and her son.
Can't believe I'm still here.

Or just her son in general.
Funny, I still call her Julliette too.

I think they are set for spring next year, but it likely depends on how the ratings were for these first few shows.

Maybe not. Didn't she die in Lost?
Incidentally, I got to meet Juliette at Comicon last year. She was the absolute sweetest person at the entire convention. Every fan she met, and I mean every fan, she greeted with the most sincere smile, thanking every one of them. And i mean, the line was huge. It was at that point I started to really dig her.

Dude. It's Lost
Hopefully she'll be in some flashforwards, or flashbacks or flashbangs or whatever flashes they'll have next year.
I need more Juliette!

Have caught the first two episodes, it's not too bad. I have to admit it's not grabbed me my the balls so to speak, but it's caught my interest. Can't help myself but compare it to the original though...
oh and i miss the Visitor's red uniforms, no matter how 80s they were
