Just when you start to lose faith in humanity

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

My first thought when I saw this:
where he kept a Spider-Man costume in his locker
Was "Why the [composite word including 'f*ck'] does a Thai fireman have a Spiderman costume in his locker?!?" I'm glad they cleared that up.

Bah, typical excuse. "Honestly, Aunt May, I only keep a Spider-Man costume on hand to help liven up fire drills." Somchai is obviously Spider-Man and, as such, either a threat or a menace to the people of Bangkok.

I actually printed that out yesterday and posted it on the billboard at work.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Read about it in the papers this morning. It's unreal.

I'm sure it's not an isolated case, but I doubt "giant squirrel costume" would have had the same level of impact on the media.

Just when you start to lose faith in humanity, some dude in Bangkok dresses as Spider-Man so that he can lure an autistic boy into his arms - and everything's all right again.
Can't believe I'm still here.

Obama renews my faith in Americans (temporarily), but as far as humanity, we've got a long ways to go.

You know who never lost his faith in humanity EVER, though? sprunkner. He's like a beacon of shining hope in a dark, dark world. Kind of like The Crow, only funnier.
