So, who's using this wonderful program?
From wiki:
"Spotify is a proprietary music streaming program, which allows instant listening to specific tracks or albums with almost no buffering delay. Music can be browsed by artists, albums or created playlists as well as by direct searches. [...] The program/service in its free version is only available in parts of western Europe during the ongoing beta programme although the subscription model should be available in almost all countries."
"The first step towards opening free accounts for public, without invitation, was taken on 10th February 2009, when Spotify opened free registration within the United Kingdom".
I'm using the free version. The catch is that a commercial plays every 60 minutes (give or take 15 minutes. I rarely notice the commercials).
But who gives a ****? It's free music. Woop woop!
Spotify is now my main music-listening-thing. I rarely use my mp3's.
One thing: Spotifys library isn't complete. It doesn't contain every album/artist/whatever (but it looks like they're aiming for it).
But check it out!
I can probably score you some invites for the free version - but I have to buy them, so you'll have to compensate me with some sort of gift!
The version you pay for costs 9 euros/month (you can cancel the whole thing anytime you want). It's worth it.
You can easily swap playlists using URL's.
You can also create collaborative playlists (we can all add songs to the same playlist IN REAL TIME11!!!! and then discuss them here).
Link! (not the dude from Zelda)
