If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

That wasn't really a spoiler!

I came in here expecting a spoiler, so I want a real spoiler!

"What's is it?"
"It's a compass."
"What does it do?"
"It points north, John."

Hold on.

Is this a spoilers topic or a stating the obvious topic?

It's a topic that spoilers may appear in at some point.

Once we stop making random observations and quotes and start with the actual discussion.

Okay then.

Soooooooo.....the Ring Lady could be Daniel's mother and she tells Ben what to do, "Ginger" is going to die from not having a constant, Sun's got SOMETHING going on, and is anyone really sure Locke is actually dead? Or will he pull some chronomatic anomalies?

Discuss.

Desmond. Stop living in the boat. It's been three years. Go get yourself a house. Haven't you had enough of the ocean yet?

I really do love how the survivors have really had just about as much weirdness as they can stand. They just seem so sick of it.

Anybody wanna guess who was knocking on Desmond's door before Sawyer and Faraday started?

Desmond accused Faraday of having been hammering on the door for longer than he or Sawyer had been.

It's possible he was just exaggerating. Or it's possible that somebody else had been there quite recently.

I just assumed that Faraday and Sawyer were hammering on the door in a time after John Locke had a hissy fit and hammered on the hatch way back in season 1?

Heh, Sawyer's first response to the H-bomb was "Son of a bitch..."

I'm liking the direction of this series. Richard and Locke's conversation explained so much of the weirdness that has surrounded them in previous series that I felt rather gratified by it. A really good payoff for those who've put the effort in to follow this thing.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

The show has been much more focused since they set an end date. This season (and the last one come to think of it) has been moving a long at a decent pace...

Neither did I.

I'm enjoying the season so far - but I'm tired of this time-shifting ****. I hope they solve it in the next episode.

Ben: "He's my lawyer." "No. she's right. Sorry."

I love Ben sooooo much.

And how about Sawyers voice completely changing when he's talking about seeing Kate again?

Oh wow, the ending. I'd called that one back in season 4, but the way they did it was so great!

God, people said the X Files got convoluted. Isn't Lost just eating itself now?

And the latest episode had English accents that were so bad, sick started coming out my ears.

I don't remember any standout bad accents? The only english accent I can recall, was coming out the mouth of an actual English person.

The Jin thing... I knew he was going to pop up somewhere... but not there. How did that work then?

I actually mean the Jughead episode and the miscelaneous characters Desmond met on his travels around "Oxford" and the like.

Still waiting to see if Danielle's accent will be explained - young Danielle has a flawless French accent, while old Danielle has a Croatian accent and mispronounces French words...production slip or major plot point? YOU DECIDE

He's been floating on that bit of wreckage ever since the freighter went boom, and has been skipping back and forth through time along with the rest of them all along.

This is just the first time they've skipped to a point that somebody else was in the same bit of water to find him.

Maybe all the time with nobody to talk to makes her forget her words?

Or maybe she uses the triluminary thing to go into chrysalis and become part Croatian?

Still trying to work out how he got far enough away from the Freighter (which didn't get caught in the time-shift radius) and exactly how he managed to get closer to the island than the helicopter...unless the island's time-skipping zone is spherical and Lapidus climbed to really high altitude first, surely the chopper would have been much closer to the island than Jin?

Those French people were a pretty hip looking bunch for 1988.

Maybe it's because those in the chopper were encased in metal?

I can't recall all the details but wasn't part of how John and Ben got to the donkey wheel to do with "whatever you do, don't put metal in the magic time experiment device"?

Maybe the mere fact that they were in a helicopter is what protected the Six? And presumably anybody caught within the wreckage of the freighter. Jin bobbing loose meant he was swept along?

Or I'm probably making this up (it's true, I'm probably making this oh oh oh oh oh. Whoa oh oh oh oh)
