Seems like TPTB always planned it this way, but I gotta go back and watch all 5 seasons again before I can even start to come up with a theory here. Current thoughts are - why did Jacob not visit Juliet in the past like the other Losties...because she wasn't on 815? Ben had lists from Jacob when they captured Jack, Kate and Sawyer, and he said something like "Kate wasn't on the list because she wasn't good enough". The last thing Jacob said to Kate was "Don't steal anymore", but of course we know she did, which is why she's not on the list? Disapppointed Locke's story ends there, if indeed it is the real Locke who is dead in the box and not the impostor...
Uh, basically, brain asploding all over the place. Need to rewatch and come up with a coherent idea, which is, coincidentally, what me and the missus had planned for the evening. See y'all in the morning
Previously on Lost... [probably spoilers]

I feel the same way.Professor Smooth wrote: As long as the writing keeps up the level of quality shown thus far, I really don't care what the outcome is.
I mean, I enjoy this show for the journey, as I think it's asking the impossible to have a worthy explanation to conclude it all.
So if it ends up being just a battle between two superhuman beings, well, then, that's good enough for me.
The journey alone over the past few years has been enough for me to conclude this is the greatest sci-fi television story ever produced, IMO.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

That's true, but Yaya's main point, that it's the journey and asking to explain it all at the end is impossible, is one that could apply to BSG as well.Brendocon wrote:Frak that.Yaya wrote:this is the greatest sci-fi television story ever produced, IMO.
Even if I did count it as Sci Fi (which I don't, it falls under the "fantasy" heading in my mind), it probably would only just scrape my top ten, if at all.
's good though.
