happy ******* new year you wanker bastards

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I object! I am ethically corrupt, not morally.

I demand proper credit.

Now we wait for Barack Obama and Battlestar Galactica, in that order.

Season 4 was ace. It somehow did some weird triple salco backflip and landed back on this side of the shark. The format shift completely reinvigorated it. Shame few people still cared by then.

Where? An island in the Pacific. Well, they were at any rate.
Why? Because their plane got ripped up by an EMP caused by Desmond.
Smoke monster... still waiting.
Polar bears escaped from the old zoological study compound of the research company that used to own? the island.
The Dharma Initiative are the aforementioned research company... sociological experiments, animal study, research into magnetics, other guff... time travel.
The lottery numbers are the passkey code thinger to control one of the computers. Were broadcast on the radio on a loop. Quite why they're magic... er, pass.

cheers, that sorts out a few things - stuff like, why do the pass key numbers win the lottery for example really confuse me.

saying that, if Darma is involved with time travel, then perhaps they picked the numbers from a winning line in the future or somthing.

hmm, time travel is a great way to sort out loads of messy plot lines I suppose.

the numbers are the Valenzetti equation, which some italian bloke came up with to predict the end of the world. Why they keep coming up? Pass..

That's my kind of mathematician btw..

Also - Jack Face rules... somewhere between orgasm and constipation...

Yes, Lost as well. But that would have ruined my alliteration.

Well, make sure to tell us about My Bloody Valentine 3D and if the tech works well or not. Is it a THX infusion of life or the movie equivalent of when arcade video games resorted to elaborate interactive cabinets in their dying breaths?
