Haha. Gold. I don't care whether it is or not, I'm going to spend the next year referring to it exclusively as Batman vs Terminator.Best First wrote:i am still harbouringa slight hope that this is actually a Batman vs Terminator movie and we get to see Batman ****ing up the future because he can.

BALE is Gold. Box Office Gold that is!
Seriously though, I'm with Ob: Bale has been on a roll. And he's said they're looking to reinvent the franchise the same way they did with Batman, and if they didn't have an awesome angle, he wouldn't be doing it.
Here's my main point: When I was 11 and I saw T2, I thought, "Man, it would be awesome to have a whole movie that's in the War of the Machines! Who wins in the War of the Machines? That would be sooo sweet. Too bad it's only 1991 and the Internet isn't even invented yet."
So now it's happening, and so I'm pumped, critically panned T3 be damned.

Well the new Terminator films wouldn't be possible without T3 - that was the film that made the war of the machines an inevitability.
Can't help feeling it should have been left alone back in '91 tho.

When I was 11 I thought how cool it would be to see what it was like when Obi Wan and Anakin were friends and how he became Vader. Look how that turned out.Shanti418 wrote:When I was 11 and I saw T2, I thought, "Man, it would be awesome to have a whole movie that's in the War of the Machines! Who wins in the War of the Machines? Well, hopefully Terminator 4: The Quest for More Cash will flop, and when Arnie dies, shortly after his return to acting, Bryan Singer will do Terminator Returns and we'll want more films in the franchise again.spiderfrommars wrote:Well the new Terminator films wouldn't be possible without T3 - that was the film that made the war of the machines an inevitability.

With Christian Bale, this film actually has potential.Rebis wrote:Well, hopefully Terminator 4: The Quest for More Cash will flop, and when Arnie dies, shortly after his return to acting, Bryan Singer will do Terminator Returns and we'll want more films in the franchise again.spiderfrommars wrote:Well the new Terminator films wouldn't be possible without T3 - that was the film that made the war of the machines an inevitability.

Very dark tone to the trailer too, not exactly the special effects laden previews of most cash grabs.
