Holy CRAP! Steve Ditko's philosophy is bloody MENTAL!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Everybody here that's at all interested in comics should have a look at the documentary, "In Search of Steve Ditko".

It's by a British lad even, and featuring lots of prominent chaps from comics that also happen to be British.

And if you happen to not be British, and might not be swooned by that little sales-pitch, I can assure you that it's good, solid entertainment. It's both hilarious at times, as well as utterly disturbing.

Oh, and Alan Moore... has a veeery deeeep daaark voooice.

It aired awhile back over here on BBC4. Jonathan Ross is quite the comic buff. I actually learned quite a bit about Ditko from it though when it comes to Spider-man I actually prefer *gasp* Romita's work. Romita, Lee, Gaiman, Moore and loads of others put in appearances as far as I remember (in fact Stan squirms a bit when pressed who created Spidey). Strongly recommended.
