New X-men cartoon: Wolverine and the X-men

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

New X-men cartoon: Wolverine and the X-men

Post by Hot Shot » Fri May 09, 2008 6:13 am

Link.
The first, official trailer for Marvel's upcoming animated series, "Wolverine and the X-Men," is here! Packed with more mutants than you can shake a stick at, check out what's in store for a world in which Professor X has been taken out and Wolverine must lead the X-Men into a very uncertain and dangerous future!

"Wolverine and the X-Men" begins as an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, Professor X. The beaten heroes, including Beast, Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler, walk away from it all but then they are given a rare glimpse into the future, where they see a world in utter ruin…ruled by giant destructive robots. They discover the world has spiraled out of control because the X-Men have given up. So now the most legendary of all X-Men, Wolverine, must take the lead on the ultimate mission—to prevent the world's destruction—while fending off enemies Magneto and The Brotherhood.
I may have to watch this show. :)

I've seen the new trailer. Might be decent, but I wont even give it a chance unless it starts getting buzz.

Hard to get over the title ye' see...

I just wished U31 was a comic for a moment there... oh well, I can read the earlier works by Hommer instead.

Im always amazed at how violent 80's cartoons are, essentially everyone uses guns and shoots at each others to sort thier problems out.

I bet in the new x-men cartoon wolverine only threaterns bad guys with is claws, and ill be surprised if Cyclops even uses his eye beams at any point, apart from, to threatern a few bad guys.

afterwards, they sit them down and tell them some moral like: guns dont kill ppl, mutants do...or somthing.

[composite word including 'f*ck'] im old a jaded!

Maybe the White Queen threatens to put their eyes out with her diamond nipples.

Wait... that was a different cartoon entirely.
