The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Wasn't sure if I should post this in the comics thread or not... but you're welcome to delete the thread, or move the post or whatever.

not being huge on comics I'm not familiar with him but the work doesn't exactly look great... the tiny feet are insane!

And everyone constantly gritting their teeth? Would he be a relation of the guy responsible for this abomination?

Ha ha! Oh, I don't know if it's the horrible drawings or the fact that I bought most of those comics in the early 90s that makes me laugh more.

ha, yeah, agreed.

i love the X-Force cast though, Fabien N didn't doa bad job on them, although it all kindof fizzled out in the end.

That guys writing is ace by the way.

For some reason the direct-link didn't work for me, but going to the front-page and then to the list worked, except I can't see the last page...

I think the one image that truly does not make any sense whatsoever... is the Captain America cover.

Luckily, I may be the only x-men fan that only owns perhaps one single comic drawn by Liefeld... Amazing.

( Seeing this made me realize it's the issue of New Mutants with that Yellow-clad lady called Tempo. Bah.)

Yeah, I always thought Nicieza was underrated because of his association with the early 90s. After Liefeld left X-force and Capullo was drawing with Nicieza writing, and Cable was supposedly "dead," I remember some good stories actually were able to float to the top.

That John Francis Moore and Adam Pollina "road trip" run on X-Force was a lot of fun, too. A few bits of salvageable fun in the book.

yeah, i hated Pollina when he first turned up but in the end he bossed it.

Capullo and Tony what his name (Daniel?) were good on the Force as well, espacielly the latter actuelly - shame they did not get a better run out og him.

Then again the whole Reighnfire thing was a bit week given the whole Cable/Strife concept had already existed in the book for so long.

anywya - that whole thread needs to be read - its awesome.

:o Wow, so that's how Pat Lee learned to draw. And I still can't get over the fact he managed to work alongside Alan Moore on Supreme.

In my opinion, as an artist, Rob Liefeld is worse than the artist of this piece. Would anyone agree?

That's right. Liefeld is worse than Hitler.

My favourite run of first X-Force. And then when Chung replaced Pollina it was still quite good. :)

I found some Image comics that someone had left on the tube once. They were cack. I'm pretty sure they were drawn by this guy.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

That's a question I keep asking myself and the chap at the local comic store.
