If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Patrick Bateman is John Connor.
Right, so:
- Die Hard
- Rambo
- Indy
- Terminator
What's next then? Jurassic Park or Mad Max 4?

Heard they might be bringing back Robert Patrick for this one. Wonder how he's aged though.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Robert Patrick's a legend. He has more business being in a new X-Files movie than David Duchovny does.

Who would've thought back then that the T1000 would end up with quite a respectable movie career behind him?
Meanwhile, of Edward Furlong.... there was no trace.

imo Robert Patrick is one of the best things in T2 and a great example of what was missing in T3- a genuinely scary villain.

Buh? That makes NO SENSE whatsoever. I can accept that a bunch of T-101s look like Arnie, after all they were production-line built, but "Robert Patrick" was just the first cop the T-1000 killed in T2. The T-1000 kept the disguise because it was useful to resemble a law enforcement officer. Why on earth would a future T-1000 look like a long-dead cop in the middle of the Skynet war? Particularly one that John Connor's seen before, and can point out "Hey, that's him!"
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Maybe he's the cop's son, looking for TEH REVENGE. Or something.

What if T4 is a serious drama that'll show us what happened the days before "Cop Robert Patrick" got killed?
Like, he gets the news that his wife is preggers, and that he's getting that promotion he's always wanted.
"Things are finally looking up for us sweety. I love you".
Then, BAM, stabbed to death.
The last fifteen minutes is all about his wife and how depressed she is.
The movie ends with her hanging herself.

You sure? I'm pretty sure he arrives looking like RP, and stabs a cop who looks different, just taking the uniform.

You're right, I just watched the start again. I must have remembered it wrong. Then again it makes no sense to create a series of robots that can look like anything with the same easily recognisable default face, but there you go.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

High standards of Quality Management in Mass Production.
Never understood how a mimetic poly-alloy could fool a time travel device into thinking it was organic matter, tho. Fooling humans, obviously, with their poor eyesight, sense of smell, etc. But fooling a machine capable of punching a hole in space-time, that's a good trick.

mmm...this is a really good version of T2...there's bits I've never seen before, like the T2 searching John's bedroom? That wasn't even on the superlong DVD version I saw...
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

T2 is in my top two favorite flicks of all time.
Just behind Watership Down.
I could probably quote the movie to you.

I was listening to it yesterday (had it on in another window behind my browser) and found that I could pretty much picture exactly what was happening in my head despite there being no dialogue. T2 is one of the best films ever, no question.
I watched T3 again last night, and despite it being...well, average...I though Nick Stahl and Claire Danes were the best things in it. I'm kinda sad that he's going to be replaced by Batman now, as they had some nice chemistry. Sadly the rest of the movie (the quips, Arnie wears Elton John glasses etc.) fell flat as a pancake.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
