And just when I finally managed to register...
These people are idiots. Do they think they can stop people from illegally downloading stuff? They close down a torrent site, 2 more open on untraceble servers. It's like fighting the Hydra, and equally pointless. I get it that they are under constant pressure from (mainly) the CD/DVD companies, but they should realize it's a fight they can never win. Even if they'd close down all USA/EU servers, there'd be always countries who didn't sign their treaty and would allow the hosting of said sites. Gah.
Hopefully, demonoid will be back online soon.

I doubt it's coincidence...
http://tech.transindex.ro/?hir=5234 (granted, it's in hungarian...)
"... but yesterday, more then 80 computers were confiscated by the Hungarian police, belonging to the greatest hungarian torrent-servers and warez sites, including BitHUmen, Moobs, Insane, Evolution and Revolution."
Maybe it's a coordinated effort between countries? We can wait and see if maybe this happens in other countries too.
