If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

It's because you were mean to Eric.

i suspect that some of the regular posters were so relentlesly positive about everything IDW does that the site may have killed itself.

I wasn't mean to Eric. Much.
Though after all those "Megatron: Origin would have been brilliant if it was eight issues long" posts, I think Besty's theory holds water...
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

By that logic Unicron.com should kick the bucket any day now.

Good news and bad news:
Forums are back!
They lost a week's worth of posts!
I'll leave you to decide which is the good news and which is the bad.

Good: Loss of mindless, stupid posts.
Bad: More room for mindless, stupid posts.

The chiefs of tribe A decided to pull the ultimate prank on tribe B and steal their big chief's throne. They returned to their own village and, for lack of a better place, put the throne in the rafters of their main hut. During the celebrations that night, the hut collapsed, killing most of tribe A and proving that those who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones.

So that's what happened in the never-shown pilot series of Shipwrecked.

Eh, if you're talking to me as well (And not just Hot Shot), then apologies. I thought my little joke was light-hearted enough to be taken as a little bit of cheek rather than actually meaning anything by it. No offence intended -- I would have made the same joke regardless of the site.
Anyway, apologies if it looked like I was taking a pop at their board.
I'm a peace-loving Aardvark. Hell, that's my middle name -- kinda-sorta-not-really.

"The rest of us"?
EXTRA! EXTRA! Best First thinks Predabot has charm! Read all about it! This year's most shocking revelation!
