Here's an important question:

What happens in Heroes when the cheerleader who can regenerate pops her cherry?
Does her hymen regenerate?
I know, "dear oh dear"... but that question needs to be answered!

Well, the regeneration is an evolutionary leap, so it's possible that it wouldn't... though it's plausible that, as nature normally takes baby steps, it hadn't figured that bit out.
I'd say yes. It would.
Though probably any descendant with the similar power would have their genes sort it out.

Grrr. Argh.

maybe it depends on when her powers first manifested... (i can't recall if that is ever mentioned in the show or not).
if her baby teeth had fallen out before then that wouldn't be a problem.
also, if something had happened to her hymen, that wouldn't be a problem either.
also, if she can regenerate pretty much anything, does that mean she can't get ill and won't age? hmmm...

Yeah, but it didn't manifest until about the time of the series starting.Best First wrote:i'm not so sure it would - i mean if that were the case she would also have a freaky mouth as non of her kiddie teeth would ever have fallen out, would it not?
In Six Months Ago (which I think the Beeb have shown?), she puts her hand through a piece of glass and needs to go hospital.
Grrr. Argh.

Which season (and episode) is okay to discuss here?
[Spoiler for season one, episode 16 I think]
She meets her real mother in episode 16 or something. Her mother tells her that she, apparently, survived a fire/explosion. Claire, together with Zach, also reads a newspaper article about this "Baby dead in explosion/fire".

Basically; spoilers for most of season one here:
Perhaps someone should change the topic to inlcude spoiler warning?
As for Molly... it would seem that people who develop their powers when they're really young don't tend to live that long... Mohinder's sister died whilst a child and Molly was on the verge of it. I wonder what that means for Micah?
Consistency is boring, we get kept on our toes this way!

Ah yeah, i'd forgotten about that.Brendocon wrote:Yeah, but it didn't manifest until about the time of the series starting.Best First wrote:i'm not so sure it would - i mean if that were the case she would also have a freaky mouth as non of her kiddie teeth would ever have fallen out, would it not?

The fire was just a cover story... a cover story that seemed plausible considering her real mother's ability. I don't think we're meant to assume that Claire survived because of her ability, otherwise why would they have given her to Bennett with instructions to turn her in when she started showing signs of having special powers?Brendocon wrote:Doesn't make a lot of sense, really. The two don't reconcile that well.
But then maybe it's just a case of... she wasn't killed in the fire. And her powers had nothing to do with it. =-o
But then Molly's powers seem to work when she's only ickle. Consistency is demanded, dagnabit!
