I tend to read The Times (timesonline.co.uk) which tends to give a pretty good mix of factual reporting and views from both left and right.
Often I'll crossreference it with the Guardian (guardianunlimited.co.uk) which again has good factual reporting and far more of a left slant in its editorials which I always find interesting.
Less frequently I'll check out BBC news (news.bbc.co.uk) which is generally good for barebones of stories but hopeless for meaningful comment (imo). Sometimes backed up by sky news but very rarely since their online reporting is hopeless.
I also tend to read MSN Mainichi (Japanese news) for a view from the other side of the world and sometimes CNN.
Every now and again I force myself onto the Telegraph or Daily Mail sites just for the sake of reading a different view but I usually end up leaving in disgust.
EDIT- not necessarily 'news' but I also check out New Scientist and ZDNet news
