According to a police report, Sen Craig entered a cubicle next to the undercover policeman and tapped his foot in a way that the officer recognized as a sign of "a desire to engage in sexual conduct".

Yes, but only if you are after gay sex, straight sex is fine.

And the Republican party only expects you to quit if you go for gay sex, using hookers or being crooked are far lessar offences...

Sen Craig then gestured under the cubicle divider, at which point the police officer identified himself and arrested him.
What is this "gesture" of which they speak? And why were the police watching him? It sounds like they were watching for a reason to get rid of him.

Either way I'm off to get my ankle bones removed for safety reasons. Ta. :o

No. Police regularly hang out in public toilets and selected other locations looking to bust someone for public indecency. It's a sh*tty job...

The 'gesture' was that he put his hand under the divider and waved at the cop three times.

Whole thing's ridiculous. Although guys getting off in the stall next to you can be pretty distracting. Put you right off your stroke, for one thing.
