There is the old "snapping of the banjo string" argument, but I dunno, it happens to about 1% of guys and though it bleeds a lot it doesn't really cause any major damage. I've never had any issues down there - I love my polo neck and I wouldn't swap it for anything in the world.

The horror stories I've heard all come from my mom who is the headteacher of a nursery school and therefore has to deal with a lot of small children, most of whom she sees naked at some time or another. Point is, when circumcision is carried out by an old imam or rabbi who has never been surgically trained, whose hands might shake and whose eyes are not what they once were...well it can leave its mark on a man.
