Everytime I post I promise to spend more time here but inevitably fall behind and then it just slips my mind. I'll see if I can commit to at least a per month schedule and maybe even hit a post per week. Not like the good old days with 25 posts a day...
Anyways...
Finished my 2nd year of law school and I'm currently interning at a firm and having amazing fun despite the workload. It's ridiculously cool to actually apply what I've learned in a real life context and actually making a difference. It's scary how much responsibility people place in lawyers and if I dwell on it I'd panic. Regardless as an intern I do a lot of the work as an actual lawyer, minus actually going into court and doing the stuff you see on Law and Order. Seeing stuff I've written get argued on, and decided by a judge is great fun and nervewracking. You don't win every battle, but everytime I do I feel like jumping up and down like a loon.
Also, I just saw the Transformers movie, and I loved it. Oh don't get me wrong, I fully acknowledge its flaws and problems, but as an overall cinematic experience, I greatly enjoyed it. When Optimus and the other 3 Autobots landed on Earth and transformed for the first time I about had to change my pants. That and when Optimus CENSORED!
Alright, I'll try and promise to check in often, but given my track record I'll post something substantive again in September. =/
