Had a nightmare last night

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Had a nightmare last night

Now I dunno what constitutes a nightmare for the rest of you, but for me it's something very different - this one time I overheard my parents saying my elder brother Nick was killed at a dock or some riverside someplace. Didn't dare to ask them the details.

And then I was interrogated by the police for suspicion of involvement or something. I asked them what happened to him exactly and they wouldn't say. And it all culminated to the point that they threatened to throw me and all my stuff into a trash compactor, including my bed and the telephone charget that I left on it and forgot to put away.

I guess what really pissed them off was the fact that I'd told one of them, why I was the least affected at my brother's 'death' was that I trusted him to cook up some cockamamie scheme to fake his own death and come back. He's crazy like that - not Jack Sparrow crazy, but he does collect knives and survival implements like I collect TFs. And he thinks I'm the crazy one. And now you've all got me talking about him like he's really gone.

"No, Aaron, you're doing that all on your own" is that right? Sure it is. The demonisation of the Aaron Hong continues, all because I just had one of those dreams that touches you so deeply you... you post about it on an internet forum. Bloody good show there, double-A, you've just proven to yourself AND ALL THESE GOOD FOLKS that you don't get enough sleep.

And the crazy thing is? Found that phone charger on Annie's dressing table. But I popped over to Nick's when he was asleep, just to check his pulse. Can't be too certain nowadays.

Boy, this'll take some explaining.

Whoa, that's really scary, man. I had a dream last night. I wouldn't say it was a nightmare, but there were like two space shuttles in my driveway, alot of my relatives were staying over, and every store in town was closed except for like Ace Hardware, and there isn't even an Ace Hardware near me! (At least I don't think there is!) And this Ace didn't even sell hardware. They sold furniture! WTF?

I have a recurring nightmare that my cats are drowning. It's bloody awful.

One reason why I hate sleeping: I either have a nightmare, or I don't dream at all.

Because a topic like this desperately needs a lighter note.

Last night I dreamed I was reading the morning paper, and TFs popped up three times. There was one article about the Classics line (with a pic of Grimlock), mentioning specifically the 'revamping' (for want of a better word) of the Takara molds, and the other two were ads for toy sales. How does an Alternator from the Sideswipe/Hound wave for US$24.93 sound to you?

Since I take my dreams a little too seriously, I went through the morning paper for real just a while ago, and guess what I found - TRU holding a Lego stock clearance sale, up to 30% off. Guess it's a simple case of knowing what to look out for.

I get shaken up by my dreams because they tend to tell the future...in a dyslexic sort of way. For example, I had a dream I was walking with white feet over a criss-cross pattern. A year later I was living in Denver and walking to the bus stop in my white snow boots. The pavement was built with blocks set in a criss-cross pattern. Anyone else get stuff like this?
