Dunno if this is the right forum for this... (if not I'm sure I can trust the moderators to put me right)

Am thinking of doing a website for myself, titled Derek_vs_The Worlddotcom, now don't get me wrong have done nothing with it yet, but so far am entertaining myself with the notion.

There will be different sections;
* How would Derek do it? (people ask me how I would approach a problem and with the aid of sketches and the written word, I would attempt to forward bizarre solutions)
* Derek versus the world! (where I get to say what I want about the world and the people in it, coz everyone has the right to say what they want, but sadly I find they don't. Of course, there are those that do.)
* What did I learn today/this week? (what it sounds like)
* Spotlight on Friends. (so long as I have their permission of course)
* Derek versus the animal kingdom! (where I get photos of me suggesting I'm fighting animals, I won't be of course, I like animals, but I want to get a picture of every animal I can, to show I'm the fiercest of them all.)
* The Silly Award. (people or websites will recieve this award for being well silly in my opinion. I've already found a few candidates.)

Why do I want to do this? I might as well. There's more than enough sobering stuff out there in the big bad, I just want to make some corner of it thats still fun. Also want a website to act as a part jornal from March to September of next year fo something I've been considering doing.

If anyone has any thoughts, ideas or would just like to tell me to shut up then feel free, otherwise I wouldn't have posted on a public discussion board.

Not trying to advertise just would like to see if a brainstorm might help with this.

I guess you could call it that, but for the the moment don't want to label it's format, so that I might be able to do more with it. Maybe more of a web soapbox.
