People not leaving the board

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Why ask for our Canadian friend when the real OrionPax is around? ;)

I left the board a couple of times now, and it feels great out there! But it's always nice to read up on things and see how everyone's doing.

Free beers and lemonade for all!

A ring of metal, usually 'magnetically soft' iron, with two or more electrically conductive wires wrapped around it as coils. The individual coils are usually of differing tightness and/or number of twists, resulting in a system analogous to gear ratios. When an alternating current is applied to one of the wires, the coil generates a magnetic field which is directed through the iron core to the other coil(s) and induces similar alternating currents in them. The ratios allow for the transformation of the current to either higher or lower, and a similar but inverse transformation of potential differences respectively.

Anyone remember that guy who from the old Transfans.com board who started a short-lived topic on the electrical variety? ;)

Same here. I drop in once in a while. Liking a childhood transforming toy, isn't as cool know as it was a few years ago. Since Transformer are all the rage now. Us Transformer fans use to be far and in between. Even my collection pales in comparison to what's out there now. Damn ebay and falling aftermarket prices!!

I dont post as much as a lot of the people on here, but I've been here since 2000. Used to go by the name Jazz, this was before you could register naems. Logged in one day to find someone had snapped up my name and picked the one of the closest transformer to me at the time... wideload

Hi Impactor Returns!

I just checked the poster 'highscores' again - I'm still in the number 4 spot! Weird!

Working hard for the moment, spent about 8 months as good as unemployed so all my paycheques at the moment are settling debts. Should have some good savings behind me in a year tho and will be able to do some travelling and cause some mischief closer to my goals in life :) Yooz?

I'm very glad to hear that you're busy doing stuff. Be sure to have fun from time to time too!

I've been super, thanks. For the past two years working hard at my co-owned company, Paladin Studios. Next Friday there's a party to celebrate. :)

Anyone interested in coming, and in the neighbourhood, check our website /party for directions.

All good on this side of the pond, life's treating me well I fear. :o
