Morally wrong? I'm not sure about that. I think a church should get the same amount of protection from virtual violence happening in its virtual halls as any other building which does not normally house violence does. In other words, none at all.
Furthermore, you're going to tell me that if an alien invasion was taking place, there WOULDN'T be bunches of horrid little humans sheltered inside these weird little buildings filled with crosses for some ungodly reason? If you're trying to eradicate the human race going house to house, you're going to have to kill some people in some churches.
