If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Really thought I had this job placement, but i didnt, turns out that whilst my CV EMAIL porfolio is very good, it doesnt show enough of the development. my email portfolio is like 4MB already, if I sent all the development work with it, it would be huge.... daft, oh well.
Just wanted to moan.
bummer

That sucks

Try not to let the bastards drag you down, some people/places seem to have made a sport out of playing silly buggers with students for placements/interviews.

Essentially, I asked for feedback, and the general point of it was, I like your work, but i want to see the development of it all - now, for example, we designed these simple lemon squezzers, i went through 60 concepts, before evening using other design methods, the entire project covered about 400 pages of design work, how am i supposed to email that.
Oh well, moving along to some thing else.

Maybe you could make an online portfolio? Get a domain, make some pages for it with all these details on and then just attach that URL to your CV?
Worth a shot, and like you say, you can't put all that kind of information into your CV itself.

ill update my own website to show an enitre project I think.
Currently, i send out my CV, a cover letter, a mini portfolio (as suggested by design agencys) 3 mini cases studys.
this all weighs in at around 3MB.
Personaly, im more miffed because they kept me hanging on for weeks, to let me down, and I think its unfair because my cv and the other bits are supposed to get me an interview, at which point, like i stress in my cover letter, all the work i have done can be shown in an interview.
anyhows, they are one company, and there are ore, so im not gonna get to ****** off about it, i just respected thier work.
