If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

no need to get angry.
multiple winkys to ensure no misunderstandings!
Anyway - mine is ordered but may take a couple of weeks to ship - apologies to my nominated recipient.
I hope they like it...

Um, mine's still here... apologies but I've been having fun with debt issues, job shuffling and a few very important social events and occasions that have taken most of my funds. I'll be trying to get it sent out as soon as possible. My new job doesn't start until the 6th, so little chance of getting it out before midmonth unless I borrow- which I might have to do anyway for other things, so we'll see what happens.

My gift is stuck in Limbo - i've orderd it (almost a month ago) but its not shipped yet i'm afraid. I am following up with the relevant organisation.
also not recieved mine yet but coolio on that front - I know life gets in the way. Whenever something turns up will be a nice suprise.

Clearly we are not the most punctual lot. Perhaps we should all reconvene in this thread on the REAL Christmas, and see how things are shaking out at that point.
As for me, no present recieved, and none sent, although the latter will definitely change come the 1st of the month.

I've just received mine!
... I think.
Got something nice in the mail that I did not order, so that must be it.
It's a big comic book collection callled Invincible. Looks pretty cool.
Thanks!
