well said.divebomb wrote:Hey, I'm not round here much these days and people prob never really missed me! I can honestly say that when I was around here more often you guys helped me when I had problems and I'd like to think that we're all just like a big group of friends.
Friends bicker and argue all the time, some are steadfast in their resolution to stick with their point others will go off in a huff. At the end of the day as soon as one of them needs help everyone will always rally round.
General discussions is always gonna be a hot bed for dispution, just like when we all sit round the table at a pub with other friends. Guaranteed that someone will say something someone doesn't like and prob storm off, that is because we all have our own opinions.

Whatever. I may be in the microminority, but Preds hasn't been NEARLY as annoying overly the last two years as he was the first two years I was here. And when I see chronological newbies like Hot Shot jumping in and "kicking the school nerd" because the rest of the kids are doing it, it gives me bad "Every movie about high school you've ever seen" flashbacks.

I second the motion.Brendocon wrote:We can always kick the snot out of Hot Shot, too.
After all he has chosen a good name to be mocked (Armada and Cybertron wise)

Yes please, that sounds lurvely. ( it'll give the scabs on my back some time to heal)Brendocon wrote:We can always kick the snot out of Hot Shot, too.
And I'm ALSO similarly stunned about 4 year anniversary, time really does fly when you're having fun.
This reminds me about a certain thread I've been thinking about posting for some time, it revolves around Paul & Brendan, and the the christmas-thread I posted. The time might well have come for it.

*takes a few steps back* I picked the name Hot Shot because the yellow Energon version was my first TF ever. Besides, Hot Shot was cool...wasn't he?The Last Autobot wrote:I agree. Posting on a new forum is incredibly intimidating. (At least for me) I was here for quite a while before browsing as a 'guest' before I finally gritted my teeth and decided to go for it.
My personal approach to it... start small, get to know people, don't try to step on any toes (yet )
That being said it's nice to meet you all and thanks for having me.
I always wanted to post on Transfans because it seemed a little more international to me (I'm from Canada, and they think I'm slow ehhh?) and I'm really a huge comics fan. (And my friends are probably going to murder me if I start trying to yap about the TF comics to their faces again)
