Saw it on Newsarama earlier, and I must say that it's a quite choice modern styled version of the Mark 1.
Apparently he will have several armours in the movie? I'm guessin' we'll see 3 or so armours. The last one will probably be reminiscent of the current one in comics, since it's being designed by none other than Adi Granov ( Iron Man: Extremis). He's doing loads of design and storyboards for this apparently.

I disagree, it looks pretty much perfect. And just as I thought, highly reminiscent of the design Granov is using right now.
I do believe it also looks A LOT like the teaser-poster that was released some months ago? With Iron Man sticking a repulsor into the viewers face. A poster that I'm accidentally recolouring too.

I would have waited an eternity for this moment...Best First wrote:i find myself agreeing with the wrong Swede. Damn.
Also, here's that teaser-poster by Granov that Marvel released before.

Hmm... looks like the face-plate has been slightly tweaked. The round uni-beam is still there tho.

On one hand:
Looks spot on and virtually the same design as the modern 616 Iron Man. Nice job!
On the other hand:
All they did was copy what's already been established! *I* could say, "You know how it already is? Do it like that." How hard is that?
*Thinks about TF movie*
Oh yeah, that's right. Nice job, Iron Man producers!
