Lost season 3, now episode 11.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Yay. Sayid's flashback was welcome but overdue.

Sawyer makes me LOL everytime. Zorro? Avalanche? Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon? The man's a genius.

I cant decide if Locke is just real stupid or in on it. He's now destroyed 2 hatches. You've got 50 people stranded on an island, you happen to find one hatch filled with supplies and lock destroyes it. You find a second hatch filled with supplies and this time telecommunications equipment, and locke destroyes it. classic

No weirder than Jack's dad or Kate's horse, and they're still aboot.

Locke, though. Knew what was gonna happen the moment I saw the C4. It's like "if somebody or something tells Locke to do something... he has to do it."

It's like he's incapable of thinking for himself.
Grrr. Argh.

I guess this last episode kind of answers this. Althogh I still suspect some alterior motive.

Yeah. It looked like it was going to be boring filler, turned out to be entertaining filler.

Were those two characters ever glimpsed in seasons 1 and 2 or were they retconned?

I was wondering that. Wouldn't surprise me to see them as actual extras floating around in earlier seasons... y'know, the old "you're here every week so we may as well give you a speaking part" thing...

Will be keeping my eyes out when I give the whole thing a watch through over the summer...

The show is back to being great again, IMO. For a while there, it was just good.

Now it's great.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

After the pointless "let's press this button in the hatch" season 2, I think it's really picking up the pace now - the Kate episode was great fun (though it had a bit of a pointless flashback, she should have learned about Sawyer at the end as it would have created a lot more tension about their relationship) and with Locke joining the Others I reckon we're in for a brilliant season finale. Apparently episode 20 will be a DHARMA on-island flashback, which should be very enlightening.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
