Yup I flew threw the new airport - the one that's made from an artificial island...an artificial island with thousands of big planes landing on it every day...but yeah it was pretty impressive. I booked my airline luggage at Hong Kong Station (just near the hotel) and caught a 10 minute train to the airport, instead of carrying my bags to the airport and then waiting in queues to check them in.

NZ is bloody lovely, by th way. If you hear that I'm moving here, do not be surprised. I'm building a Flickr account while I'm out here (same username) though it's mostly forests, beaches and steam trains so far, and I've got ****loads to upload.

Heh, I'm out in a shed on a remote farm on the other side of the world and there's broadband.

right.

so it all starts off ok.

i get offered beer, a token of appreciation in my world and the gesture grows for a few posts.

Then some ****ing yank whines about it.

and suddenly he gets offered beer. Which we all know he can't cope with.

then it gets stated that we "haven't done anything ourselves" - please bitch - we is the shizzle dizzle transfans bizzle. Well, i am. He licks goats. But i ******' well is, innit?

then everyone gets involved in this beer scrounging thus debasing the glorious concept of using ale to lure me back.

rubbish.

i'm never coming back ever.

until i write a fairly lengthy post to get a few things off my chest anyway, which may take a while.

But for now, today i got a bit dragged back into a past some of you know about.

and so i wanted to say hello to some of the people who helped me get through it and will help me get through anything else.

sorry for being a bit (ha) random. and melodramatic.
