Anyone see the UK Music Hall of Fame last night?
Bon Jovi rocked. They've written so many catchy tunes and are still around selling bucketloads. Clinton even gave them a video message!
Why such scorn? Is it because of the ballad years? Or because Jon is a ****?

*Walks into the room*
Whoa.
*Backs away slowly and closes door behind him*

Its like Alcoholics Anonymous, this!
Hi, I'm Scraplet and I own some Bon Jovi albums
First three albums are mint. Then 'New Jersey' went a bit, erm, too serious for my liking (apart from 'Bad Medicine' and '99 in the shade' ) and pretty much everything else since has been poo!
I love the first album. No-nonsense, tight-trousered, big-haired rock'n'roll. In fact, I'm gonna put 'runaway' on right now
*launches I-Tunes*
Gotta love that cheap 1984 synth sound!

If we're talking synth 80s rock, no one can touch Van Halen or Rush.
Now if we're talking making weird sounds using a mic, a voice, and some effects, Richie Sambora STILL comes up short to Peter Frampton.
But big points for being married to Heather Locklear for a decade.
I don't see how anything they've done could be anywhere near the picture of above averageness that is "Livin' on a Prayer"
